We spent two nights here in May and were not disappointed. The location is great - away from the noise and crowds of Pelourinho but within an easy walk. Great views, great breakfast and we very much enjoyed meeting the owners, who were very welcoming and helpful and eager to share their enthusiasm for and knowledge of Salvador.

Really charming pousada near Pelourinho with lots of attention to detail everywhere. The staff was really friendly and even though we only stayed 2 nights it felt like staying in a family home. Gerusa the manager knows everything about Salvador and was extremely helpful in giving us all the insights. I would definitely stay there again!

Brazilian travelers beware: get familiar with the operation of the demand hotwater showerheads! This will save you from the cold showers I suffered. Located in the "Upper city", the property has several view rooms overlooking the harbor. Ours on the 3rd floor was very nice with an outdoor private veranda.
