“Best NYE ever”

Our best NYE ever also thanks to Pousada's owner Adriano and his family who took care of us during our 1 week stay in Trancoso! 50mt from the beautiful beach and 15 min walk to the Quadrado, great breakfast and simple but super-clean rooms. The best is the hammock hanging in front of every room, this was real relax.

Ideally located less than 100m from a wonderful beach, accessed via a pathway through mangrove and within easy walking distance of Quadrado, with its good restaurants, pousada Som do Mar is a great place to stay. in the middle of nature just beside the sea ... a little paradise. The personal attention from owner Adrian and his wife make you feel at home inmediately.

My darling and I passed News Years here, stayed a week and loved it. I recommend an upstairs room because the view is beautiful. We stayed a couple of days in an upper room (less mosquitos). The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly. It is just a step from the beach. I would fully recommend to stay here. Four of us spent 4 fantastic nights here. The pousada is perfectly located as literally a few hundred metres from the beach. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent, the Inn is quiet and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and the service is OUTSTANDING! All of this made our stay at Pousada Som do Mar and our days in Trancoso unforgettable.
