She's a grand old lady. The impression one receives during one’s stay is of an aging lady trying valiantly to hold onto the elegance of her youth. The assessments of other reviewers are right on target--expect a 1960's déjà vu experience. I realized quickly that simple seeing the sheer amount of Brazil wood lining the hallways of this hotel is... More

This hotel was probably a prime address when it was built in the 60s. There is a memorial plate in front of the elevators saying that Prince Philipp staid at the hotel in 1968, unfortunately it seems that the hotel has not seen any renewal/renovation ever since. Rooms are spacious with a walk-in closet, but the interior is really dated,... More

This hotel marketing spot should be "have a presidential stay!", but in little characters the clarification would be that the stay is as Charles De Gaulle felt when visiting Brazil 50 years ago, same room, same facilities, furniture and linens! Everything in this hotel is old, the service is poor, breakfast was crowded and without variety. The rooms seemed tired,... More

The hotel is very old and seams to be launched at the 60s without any major upgrades. They do not accept credit card or debit car. Breakfast is pretty standard. Rooms are old and not clean. Bathroom with water on the floor. There is a fridge that makes a loud noise thd enteire night

I am now in room 3 in this sad place. If you want to see how a 1960s hotel can be badly mismanaged, how every room is rubbish, how bad food in Brasilia can be, and how quickly you can turn suicidal, then stay in this place. If for any reason you want to enjoy live, go elsewhere. Before you... More

This Hotel was the best in Brazil in 60's. Now it should be the onde of the worses. Dirty, terrible service, old pillows, bad bed, old fashioned style, dirty carpets, unbelievable. And the noise is 24 hours a day. They still call the hotel 5 stars. Do NOT believe. It is a 2 stars, going down. Try any another hotel,... More

I had a terrible expirience in this hotel. There were lots of drug users around the hotel, so it was dangerous to walk around, the police was arresting them in front of us. They cleaned the room only once and I stayed there for 4 days. They don´t accept credit cards. The pool is not warm as they say. They... More

I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. It is very old and the price is not worth at all! I had a great discount because of an alliance with my coworkers association and still too expensive for what if offers. I am not tall or over weight, but there is no enough room to take a shower (up and... More

I recently stayed at the Hotel Nacional in Brasilia, Brazil and the room had many ants and the furnishings of the hotel are old. The Blue Tree hotel is definitely better although it's not in the city center. However, a 10-minute taxi ride will easily get you downtown.
