An excellent place to stay, close enough to attractions, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Well decorated and presented accommodation. Very friendly owners, who provided a great breakfast. they were very knowledgeable, giving sound advice on local sights. More

We had such a warm reception by Chris and Jim. The house is furnished beautifully. My favorite piece being the fireplace! We had a great dinner with an Amish Family to celebrate the holidays, There was lots of variety and food. And then Chris woke up and prepared breakfast surprises. She is a great cook and you love waking up... More

Stayed here twice, once in the stone house in the state park, and once in the house itself. The covered bridge cottage in the park is in a beautiful setting--a little park set back from the road, with a stream and fields. (Unfortunately the park keeps a small dumpster and porta- potty within sight of the entry). During the day... More

Loved this old Pennsylvania town with stone church and houses in a pastoral setting of Amish and Mennonite farms. Very charming. Delicious breakfast. Air conditioners in each room which kept the rooms very comfortable and eliminated any traffic noise. Lovely gardens surrounding the house. Great area to take a morning walk. More

Our weekend was perfect. The innkeepers Chris and Jim were such warm and kind people, they made us feel like family. The inn itself is beautiful and our room was very charming, loved it ! One evening we sat by the fish pond listening to the waterfall and enjoyed the gorgeous view of the Lancaster County fields and mountains. And... More

Breakfast was the highlight of our stay, 5 hearty courses and delicious. Mary, our breakfast server was wonderful. Our room was on the second floor. Bedding and room were clean. We had a room in the front, but with the air conditioner running, we were not bothered by traffic noise. Our bathroom needs a few minor repairs, but don't let... More

We happened upon the Churchtown Inn as we were driving along the road. It appealed to us as it was an old building with an historic sign outside. The house was absolutely lovely. The common rooms were large, comfortably furnished and very inviting. Our bedroom had a gas fireplace, comfortable bed with beautiful quilt and a compact private bathroom. After dinner... More

This charming traditional B&B is housed in a beautiful 18th century stone house on a main street in Lancaster county PA. When you drive up, it looks just as you would imagine a B&B to be in this part of the US. The owners Chris and Jim are very welcoming, accomodating and make you feel a part of the family!... More

Churchtown Inn is a wonderful B&B. I can't decide what was the best part - the simple yet elegant four course breakfasts, the wonderful hospitality of innkeepers Chris and Jim Farr, the glass of sherry and delightful conversations at night with fellow guests, or the spectacular country in which the inn is located. This is a true gem, a place... More
