Found this place through a living social special. Did some research on the area and decided to book our getaway. The inn is very comfortable, warm and inviting. The Innkeepers were friendly and made us feel welcome. After a tour of the Inn we did wish we would have booked one of the loft suites, they are amazing (so are the... More

Second Wind has a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and accomodating, decorated to make you feel comfortable. A basket of chocolates was a nice welcome and having coffee available in the meeting room was nice also. The Innkeepers, Mark and Kelly were friendly but not over-bearing. They respected our privacy and desire to relax alone. We thought... More

This contemporary B&B is amazing in it's size and beauty. We had one of two immense loft suites that occupy the second and third floors of the house. My favorite details of the suite were the numerous oversized chairs, ottomans and sofas, all done in an "up north" theme. There were books and games galore, and wonderful breakfasts. We stayed... The Second Wind was a great find - we were really happy with the awesome, clean, comfortable room that we had, as well as the delicious breakfast. Everything is very updated and in excellent condition. The owners, Mark and Kelly, do a great job of making you feel welcome -- sometimes I've stayed away from B&Bs because it's a weird... More

Kelly & Mark (owners) bend over backwards to make your time there as pleasant and relaxing as can be. The rooms are well taken care of == in fact, the whole place is immaculate. The breakfasts are BETTER than you get in a 5 star restaurant. The farm atmosphere is so de-stressing, it makes it very hard to go back... More

Second Wind County Inn B&B is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed there over Labor Day weekend and had a very relaxing time. Kelly and Mark, the owners, made us feel very welcome. They made us breakfast, showed us the animals/farm, shared some recipes and history of how they became owners of the B&B. The rooms are beautiful -... More

My husband and I stayed here for a night during our honeymoon, and were VERY impressed. The owners just would not stop making our day!! First, welcoming us into their home, showing us around their foresty/lodge-themed rooms, and hanging out with their family to chat. She was excited about their new donkey, and even offered us to play with their... More

We stayed only one night in this beautiful B&B. The setting and the house is so beautiful and the sunset that night was perfect. For an urban girl, this was an exciting holiday option.I learned how strong the goat was (no she was not interested in being milked once the bucket of food was empty), the new building is for... This is the place to stay if you go to the Ashland/Bayfield area in northern Wisconsin. The owners, Mark and Kelly, make it a great experience. The B & B is on their family farm and has a wonderful country feel. The building and rooms are meticulously kept. The room we had, Pine Cone Hollow, had all the modern amenities... More

We stayed in the Bear Den and enjoyed the hospitality of the innkeeper and her family. The entertainment was provided by the boys and girls in the correl. The goats, donkeys and sheep add joy to the experience and a welcome change to city life. Should you find yourself in the area I suggest that a stay here would be... More
