“You get what you pay for”

The location is spectacular. If you are going to see the Falls stay where you can walk out your door and be at the Falls. Yes, it's expensive but consider you will also be paying cab fares to and from the park and park enternace fees if you stay outside the park. Rooms, service and food were all excellent. I... More

“Paying the price for convenient location”

This seems to be the only nice place to stay while visiting the falls which are located right in front of the hotel. We stayed in a superior room that faced the garden. “Highlight of our trip”

This hotel is in a fabulous location and it is very comfortable. Yes it is expensive but I cannot understand reviewers who criticise the food. Great location, beautiful building, amazing food, thoughtful and friendly service. You do not need to get out of the hotel for anything, except with various experiences that are available. Walking on the trail in the morning and experiencing sunset at the "mirante".... great and simple things that will be long lasting memories...

Just arrival at Das Caratas is an experience. Have stayed there 6 times. Thorough restoration. I call it is 7 star hotel with very high service and great food and the world's largest waterfall on one's feet.

Awesome place and highly recommend the investment. The service and staff were very attentive, helpful, happy and friendly .. The food was nothing short of excellent.. “Perfect Location”

We stayed at Hotel das Cataratas for two days. The overall experience was wonderful - the location of the hotel, the the breath-taking view of the falls, and the boat ride trip to getting close to the falls and so on. We would definitely recommend it.

“Exquisite hotel/spa in an amazing paradise”

Elegant old colonial atmosphere with modern amenities , excellent restaurant, amazing spa , great service. All in walking distance from one of the worlds great natural wonders.
