Although it is not easy to find a good place to stay on Ilha Grande, and this one was not expensive, we were a bit disappointed. Room was not ready when we arrived (4PM), breakfast is so so. The people are very kind.

Nice pousada, with good breakfast. Room was good and clean. The owner we spoke to was very friendly but had little English, but we managed to communicate with our basic Spanish. Stayed in family room as a couple April 2013.

Pousada Pedacinho de Ceu offers very nice and quiet rooms in the middle of the village of Abraao. There are great views on the green mountains from the beautiful garden and ncie veranda. The owners of the pousada are very friendly people and we've spend some great days here.

After traveling through Central America, Peru, Colombia and Brazil, this was in our top 2 hostels of our trip. This is probably the most charming hotel of our trip. The accommodation is basic but adequate and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. What the pousada may lack in luxuries it more than makes up for in location and atmosphere. I loved watching the humming birds in the garden!
