A reasonably priced hotel considering it was close to the carnaval. Clean, good location for Lapa, Uruguayana etc. Room compact but comfortable. A/C fine. Breakfast pleasant enough. Overall good value considering the astronomical prices of most Rio htels.

It is a classic Ibis hotel: nothing more, nothing less. The service is good, considering the city standards. Pay attention to your restaurant/bar bill: they right down all items and you need to sign. And you keep no copy!
