The hotel is nice and well located (even though barra de lagoa is better). But the staff is very laid-back and propose tour that are cancelled at last minute because there's not enough people (so you lost half a day waiting for nothing). Spent xmas here and agree with everything the other reviews say. Only to add that the other travellers staying also seemed particularly friendly and it was a good place to meet people. for anyone looking for a cheap eat Qurebims? is 5 mins away which has a good quality kilo buffet.

I arrived at the Lagoa Hostel around ten thirty in the morning after an overnight coach from Foz do Iguaçu. This hostel is at a great location - all the bars of Lagoa da Conceicao are nearby. The beaches Mole and Joaquina can be easily reached by bus, or walking (approx. 40 min).
