I stayed at the Sofitel in May for four night on business/vacation. I got a great rate on line... but you get what you pay for I suppose. The front desk clerk who checked me in was very good and spoke great English. The room was good. Sound insulation from room to room very poor as noted elsewhere here... babies... more

Parking: When we first arrived at the hotel and parked on the street in front of the hotel, as we were unpacking the trunk a homeless person came up to us and tried to explain that we needed to pay him for parking. I've stayed at this hotel for a congress. The internet was not working. The safe, broked. The breakfest was very poor. No room cleanning until 11 am! And to complete, they tryied to charge me a fee of 200 bucks for the visit of 2 friends of mine who live in Florianopolis. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.... more

Very nice hotel at a very good location. Room is comfortable and beautiful with great view. The price is a little expensive, yet internet cost extra US$12. more
