Stayed for a week on business in April. I am told that this is the best hotel in Piracicaba and was suprised when I checked in. It is not a high quality hotel. My room was basic, very basic and the bathroom was dirty ie body hairs and marks from a previous resident in the toilet bowl (yep, I don't... More

I spent two nights ( and paid 3) during a recent business trip at the Beira Rio Palace. Checked in at 10:00 am after an overnight international flight and in order to ensure the room early availability I was obliged to pay for a full day fare. Not a good start, considering the low occupancy of the period. The room... More

I spent a little over a week in Piracicaba on a business trip. The Beira Rio is a well maintained hotel form the 60'ties (?!). Its biggest asset is the terrace with the Laguna-style pool and the outside bar. It has a small but well equipped gym. Breakfast features everything from fresh fruits to müsli to harty things. Downsides are... More

This hotel has a warehouse feel to it. Reminds me of construction camp housing. Rooms are spartan, but very clean. TV channel selection poor. Hotel location is just OK, really out of the center of the city. Area around the hotel appears to be safe, if residential. The attached restaurant is very expensive and rather mediocre, though the service is... More

Nice place, outdoor pool and bar are at the main entrance. Excellent churrascaria attached to hotel on other side. Would stay there again. Can walk across the st to see the river and the rapids. Breakfast in hotel was outstanding, and in a comfortable well lighted restaurant near front desk. Do recommend asking to be in room opposite the road... More

The hotel is well located, a few minutes-drive to the mall and also for the restaurants and bars adjacent to the river, the Port Street (Rua do Porto), where delicious fish is eaten. The room is small, simple, but clean. The shower is great. The common area is also nice, with a nice and warm plunge pool with a nice... More

I was in Brazil on business, did not know what to really expect. Checked in around 1:00pm after 10 hour flight and long cab ride and really needed some sleep before being picked up to travel to our facility. Room was really basic, but very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Much different then US standard but still very nice. I... More

Rooms were nice and clean, shower was hot fast!!! Internet worked flawlessly. Great little bar and sitting area out front, and a nice breakfast in the morning. What more could you ask for in a basic hotel?

Hotel Beira is basic but fine. For the price you get a standard white room that 's about 10x14' with a full bed, lcd tv plus a full sized bath with shower. The rooms are not fancy, there's no clock radio or art on the walls, but with free wifi and a nice complimentary breakfast buffet, cute pool/bar area plus... More

First of all, you have to take into account the hotel standard for Piracicaba is less than you would expext for an American hotel. The hotel exterior is very nice and it has a small swimming pool that is perfect for everything but doing laps. It,s nestled in palm trees and provides plenty of shade. There is a nice bar... More
