if you are looking for a honest hotel in the Centernorte Mall, it's a nice option. The daily rate is quite expensive, around U$200.00 (R$400.00) but the service is nice and very clean. The wifi is free but the speed is low.

If you need to be near the convention center and avoid SP traffic this is probably the place to stay. No complaints for this larger than normal Novotel. It is located next to a very large shopping mall with many good restaurants. Moderately priced rooms, over-priced menu at the hotel. Free wifi. Parking is around US$25/day (as of Jan. 2012)

I stayed in Sao Paulo for 3 days with my children. It is a good place to stay. The children use the pool all the time ! The staff was very friendly and the hotel clean. Very good Breakfast, all fresh and clean.
