Overall happy with the Winderemere resort. The location is a must for anyone travelling to Munnar as you can spend a whole day wondering round the grounds and taking nice pictures. The view from our huge room and balcony was unobstructed but as another poster said, make sure you ask for a room that is not next to the construction project close by or you will be disappointed. No alcohol is served at this property.

We were warmly welcomed and were soon established in a very spacious first floor room with a double aspect balcony with fabulous views over the tea plantations.
