I liked this guesthouse and I would stay again. Not sure about all the negative reviews about the owner as my experience was quite the opposite. He was a friendly man and helpful in organizing tours and hiring of bikes. We booked online but came a day late as I was sick in Bangkok. He sent an email saying no... More

+ Very well located near the historical sites. Clean, quiet and very nice atmosphere with garden and benches to relax in the evening wind… + a mango tree near the entrance! Staff is friendly and helpful. They can cook breakfast/lunch/dinner for you You can rent bikes for 50 baths and motos/scooter for 250 baths. Thai massage just next to hotel.... More

As far as rooms and price, you can't go wrong. I paid $150 baht for a room with a fan. The shared bathrooms were kept clean. DVDs are available to watch. There is soda and beer in a cooler downstairs, and hot water for tea and coffee. Breakfast is available with eating outside. I had a great Thai massage at... More

It is situated on a very quite street just around the corner from all the temples. All the temples are in cycling distance from the guesthouse. It costs just 50baht (about £1) to rent a bike for the day. The room was very clean alougth don't leave any food out or it will attract ants!! As we were in the... More

We stayed in this property in April 2012, it was very quiet at that time and they were just recovering from flood damage a few months earlier. The rooms are small and basic but have mosquito nets over beds. Shared bathroom small and basic too. Located 3 blocks from the night market, which is excellent. We hired scooters from here,... More

The good things about this place are that it's quiet. Unless there are other guests and then most certainly this turns into a dorm as hostelers don't have respect for anyone anymore, slamming doors, walking hard, having loud conversations late or early. If you aren't up when they get up, you will be. It's also far from the boat crossing... More

I was recommended Baan suan by a fellow backpacker and wasn't disappointed. When I walked in I asked for the cheapest room and he told me it was 150 baht, same as on their website. The room is Great for the value - comfortable bed, clean, beautiful balcony. Shared bathroom but it was clean and nice. The bungalows (500 baht)... More

the bungalow is nice but very basic, there is air conditioning but could not be set (just on/off). the owner is not much friendly but he does his job, he also kept our buggage for free after check-out. they have free wifi but the signal is not always good.

Good location and pleasant ambiance We stayed in one of the bungalows at Baan Suan for 2 nights. It is 3 blocks from the main tourist drag, 1 block from some of the major sites, and 3 blocks north of the excellent Ayutthaya night market. The bungalow was a little small, but very cute, and well air conditioned. The bathroom... More
