Amazing place ran by an amazing lady - you couldnt ask for better hospitality - absolute sweetheart who will help you out whenever she can. Had this place strongly recommended by a friend and would definately recommend to anyone else!

It looks nice, but if you want to get some sleep dont stay here. The bungalows are okay, but smell a little bit disgusting. The lakers are very nice, if you can find them. The noise of chickens or other guests will keep you up all night. We would not come back here. There a enough other alternatives.

I initially booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 6..I think this was partly due to the group of people that I met. All previous reports are accurate, its probably great if you're want to play bongos all night, but we took a room far away from the dorms and were kept awake all night by cockerels. All night. Also the mattress was thin and very hard. Overall, amazing view and lovely owner but the worst nights sleep in 2 months.

Darling view was one of the best places we stayed so far. Pai is an amazing place, the atmosphere is really nice and darling view is the right place to get that homy, cosy feel. Let me first say that this place is mainly aimed at a younger crew. If you are not into sitting up around the fire all night with music then maybe stay somewhere else as most rooms are next to or directly above the fire pit. Bongo drums being played wildly out of tune at 4am may mean a build up... More

This place had so many good reviews that we thought the 2 and 1-star reviews must have had unrealistic expectations or something like that. To be fair, though it's a bit tricky to find at first, it is really easy to walk into and around town, and it is really affordable. Sometimes the 1 and 2 star reviews aren't kidding.... More
