We had a one night stay after our tour company made a mistake with our booking on the riverside, we found this online for a cheap $30p/n. It is about 2.5kms from the riverside of Can Tho but this is about a $3-4 taxi so head in for dinner and just use it as a base. Funnily enough we got... More

Nam Mon is just too far from the action. We love walking but it is a taxi ride to go anywhere. Very few customers and problems in many areas. We must have been given the same room as a previous reviewer, Room 201, with the air con water all over the bathroom floor and a stinky drain. We tried a... More

For the price, Nam Mon is a good option. The service was very good and the receptionist was friendly and courteous. We booked the suite in the hotel for 33USD so that we had extra room. The hotel provided an extra bed (FOC) for my young son traveling with me. The room was simple, yet had everything that you would... More

I stayed at Nam Mon for 2 nights with a friend, visiting the Mekong area. We were very happy with the room, breakfast and especialy doing the floating market tour with Vingh (dont know the propper spelling ;) The hotel is located near the river, the city center is cca. 30min walk away, we walked both nights exploring the city... The hotel isn't particularly central though it is close to the river which is great if you are exploring the Mekong Delta. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable and spoke excellent English. The room was OK - the air conditioning had been limited to 18 degrees which didn't really cool the room down. We did book a tour of... More

Dear Guest Thank you for the wonderful review. In terms of the floating market tour, the price is based on the market rate. . As mentioned over the past responses, we are different from other boat operators because we focus on bringing our guest to a less tourist environment which makes us a lot different from the rest. With the... More

The moment we walked in and met Hieu we were charmed with Nam Mon Hotel's excellent service. He explained about the extra options available through the hotel, morning floating market tour & motor bike tour of the city with university students, and ensured we had a tour of the hotel. Waking up at 4 am for the boat tour was... More

First of all, we have to say, that the staff is super nice and the offered tour across the floating markets was a great experience and really worth the money. The hotel itself and the rooms is not more than ok: We actually booked the suite, but there was an awful smell and there was a constant leak in the... More

Dear Guest Thank you for taking time to write us a review and pointing out the mistakes we had made so far. Remarking your feedback about the "smell" issue, apparently the works in Can Tho is hardly comparable to Saigon or Hanoi, however this does not stop us to renovate and improve further. We are sorry for what had happened... More

Having read some of the negative comments, I think some people expect a five star hotel on a shoestring budget! from when we booked, we were in constant communication with management, the manager & staff were very helpful. we stayed in Nam Mon 2 (across the road) it was lovely, the staff over there had limited english but were so... We are ally enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel. It's located slightly outside the town centre and so nice and quiet at night, they supply free push bike for the guest to use which was a real bonus as we loved riding around Can Tho. We had a early morning boat tour of the local Floating Villages organised through... More
