Unbelievable. If you LOVE the marine world as much as we do... GO!!! It's worth every penny! The rooms were fabulous, right over the crystal clear water, with endless sea views. The Diving is SUPURB. The Staff were incredible. Some of the dive staff went above and beyond. If you get KATA you are in for a treat, he was... More

Beautiful beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staffs and they are not stingy with their smile at all. The dive crews are also very helpful and professional. We are very happy with our dives. We do not have any complaints and we will definitely go back again.

We went to the water village for the second week of our honey moon. Me and my husband have travelled a lot but it was honestly the most exclusive, breath taking place we have ever been lucky enough to stay at. The lodges were five star and the whole resort sits atop a large sandbar. You can literally see nothing... More

The resort is built on a sandy bottom. Crystal clear water is just at the bottom of your feet all the time. Spacious room, attached with bathroom and a fantastic balcony for sea view. We are two person staying in a three single bed room. Sleep overnight with all the windows and balcony door open widely. Sea view whenever I... More

This place has to be seen to be believed. The beutiful pictures online barely do it justice. The resort sits on top of some impressive coral formations and a variety of marine life (including countless sea turtles) can be seen from the resort's raised walkways. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and private but also have amazing views of the sea... More

First and most important: I have not stayed here. Making reservations has been such a challenge: I called and it's apparently fully booked for the next six months. I find that hard to believe when every other resort has rooms available. I tried to make a booking online using their reservation system and received no update. I called all three... More

After a relatively long journey from Perth, and a stop in KL, the Kapalai resort did not disapoint Fantastic place with beautiful accomodation. Food is okay, nothing great but okay. Diving staff is fantastic and most sites specially Sipadan are great. Some sites around the resort are ordinary probably due to the dynamite fishing but still enjoyable. Very hignly recommended.... “Step in Line for Assembly Line Diving Catering to Mass Tourism – But Pay Boutique Prices”. That would be my selling line for this place. You see the pictures, read the dive reviews, it all seems idyllic right? It did to me, but…. I think people need to be more clear about whether they are reviewing the resort itself or... More

Stayed here 4D/3N which is the minimum stay to get a diving permit to Sipadan. First things first: the scenery of the location is just overwhelmingly stunning. Whatever expectations you have based on all the good things you have heard about this place, they will be met or even pass them. And if you would be hesitating between the nearby... More

My husband and I arrived here for 4 nights at the beginning of our Honeymoon. On arrival at the airport, we were greeted and taken to the transfer bus. The 80min drive was a bit hair-raising, the roads are not in the best condition and the traffic is fairly congested with slow trucks etc. We arrived at the port and... More
