Hotel is located near town center. Easy to locate. Hotel also situated next to a hypermarket mall and commercial shops. Very convenient for quick shopping. The hotel has an open parking bay and guarded with security. Hotel is slightly traditional from outlook. Easy check-in to hotel. Room is tidy and clean. Only one fine thing which I find the hotel... i used to always stay here if I had to be in Miri. Chose this hotel for its convenience: 1. there is a supermarket just next to the hotel. 2. many cab standing by to get passengers. Easy for me to get to my meetings and go to airport. 3. many shops, places to eat, and places to hang out.... More

I have spent quite a few nights at the Grand Palace over the last few months and I have to say that it is a pretty good hotel. Sure it's a bit dated and could do with a bit of a refresh but it has a good location and is kept nice and clean. The beds are king size and... More

Some have said that this hotel is old. I agree but there have been renovations. The carpet in my room seems new. There is a flat screen tv with some cable channels. I choose this hotel because of its location which is close to the place I need to go for meetings. Around the hotel there are watering holes, restaurants... More

My verdict: it is a great hotel to stay. Rooms are big, cosy and comfortable. Toilettries are complete. Tv, radio, hairdryer, refrigerator and iron are ready in the room. I did not need to call housekeeping anymore. Room service is up until 11.30pm. For Muslim guest, there is prayer timetable you can refer to. A departmental store and several restaurant... More

Compared to the Imperial palace hotel, where I stayed last year this is much older property. hence everything here spells its age aloud. Good location to stay on week nights but not during weekends as the place swells with Brunei visitors on weekends who drive down from a dry state to this 'watering hole'. Small restaurant serves you the breakfast... More

It's in good location of town, surrounded by many shops, entertainment outlets and banks. Facilities includes small pool, steam bath etc. The breakfast you can do without. Room clean but there are sign of this hotel needs a facelift. Hotel staff not so friendly. At night quite noisy during weekends.

Very strategic location, close to a supermarket, food stalls n the airport. Clean and well kept rooms. Simple but delicious breakfast spread. Breakfast starts as early as 5am - for early birds who want to adventure out before the sun is up , this is the place for you.Friendly staff and good service.

The hotel was clean and tidy with pleasant staff at reception. If I had booked a cheaper executive room I would have got a lot of freebee benefits but they don't come with the suites. That is what reception told me. I had to ask because the internet page was not very clear. So book the executive room for better... More

Good value and staff try hard. Food was good and plentiful. All in all if you have the choice this is not a bad one. Near to some shops. Taxi's are available and will take you most anywhere. The GP is likely the best "in the city" as far as hotels go. The Marriott is by far a better choice.... More
