I was in the hotel and it was an unforgettable experience, it was a treat to stay at Hotel La Cabana was like home comfortable rooms, clean bathroom, hot water, let alone try breakfast and super friendly people around. I really liked staying at the hotel and meet the wonderful family that are all for giving us the best of... More

I stayed with my wife in this hotel for the third time last month and we were very well treated as always. People who work in the hotel are very kind and friendly. They are always ready to help you in any kind of situation. The most important for us is that the bedrooms are always very comfortable and clean.... More

We stayed there for 2 days. The hotel is way way overpriced for what we got but it’s Machu Picchu so they know they can jack up the prices. The room had no closet, drawer s or hooks and it had rained so we had wet cloths with nowhere to hang them up to dry. Room lighting was poor and... More

I can't imagine why this is rated so highly in the rating of hotels in Aguas Calientes, unless the other hotels are even worse. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. We booked it on the basis of the Trip Advisor rating and were hugely disappointed and now question the value of trip advisor itself. I wholeheartedly endorse the... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. We checked in early (which was nice) and quickly, dropped off some stuff in our room and headed to Machu Picchu for the day. Our room was a good size, the bed was nice and comfortable, and breakfast the... More

Stayed at this hotel in late May. Very ordinary hotel for the price charged. Someone else's long black hairs in the bed, toilet did not flush, floor was filthy, bathroom sink was dirty. Told by receptionist that the condition of the room was due to my travel agent booking a standard room! Got moved to another room.......very noisy, paperthin walls,... More

I research high and low and this was our best bet for the price (we don't do hostels). Just don't have high expectations-all is average. It's clean enough and gets the job done. Like other reviewers have said-it is extra noisy due to the noise. Bathrooms are tiny but beds are comfortable enough. Breakfast is just ok-for what you are... More

We stayed here one night for our Machu Picchu trip. The hotel did send someone to meet our train and guide us to the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, but our room was very basic. Our room was on the second floor and the window opened out onto a central courtyard. We didn't feel comfortable leaving it... More

High expectations were soon dropped when I discovered the room I actually booked was not the room I got, despite paying the same price for it, and having mentioned this to reception after seeing my room, it was not the problem of the hotel, but rather the booking agent (booking.com) who incorrectly sells the room (apparently). La Cabana Machu Picchu... More

As ElMapi was not available, this was the alternative offered by tour operator. We stayed at the matrimonial suite which was located at the top of the stairs (an extra flight of stairs to deal with) Noise from the lobby traveled straight up, thankfully it was quiet at night so we had a good sleep. The breakfast offered was average.... More
