We stayed for 3 nights during May 2013 -the price was very reasonable, rooms clean - very nice to have the balconey overlooking the garden, but even if not, the open air living room is great to relax. We particularly appreciated the location - above Kandy and away from the noise and busy streets - we walked down in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in late December 2012 and really loved it. We wanted to experience the true lifestyle of Sri Lankan people and this was the way of doing it, avoiding 5 star hotels and posh residences where tourists usually like to escape after seeing the poverty in the streets. The hosts were lovely... More

This was a really nice guest house. If you have the option take a room on the first floor as they seemed less damp than our room on the ground floor. Very kind and generous hosts. Lovely home cooked food and a great aspect - not far to walk into the more bustly Kandy.

I ended staying there many more nights than planned. It's at a good location, a lovely 15 mins walk from the city centre itself, which tends to be too busy and bustling. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The home cooked food is incredible, a wide spread is offered for dinner and for breakfast you get the yummiest home made... More

We stayed there for two nights and loved the place. Location is good, it was nice to walk to the city center and we even came back after dark by foot. Service is great, the family were friendly and kind. They served three course dinner which included soup, main course and fruit for dessert. All very tasty. You may even... More

Although we did not stay here, on our recent stay in Kandy visited this guesthouse for dinner. Owners welcome non residents for dinner but phone and book ahead. It is a little out of the way so I would recommend agreeing a time for your tuk tuk driver to return to collect you. Food was delicious and owner seemed to... More

We stayed here at the start of our holiday, the family That ran the guest house were so friendly and helpful. Very clean, great food and they gave us lots of advise for tours and arranged trips and travel for us. Lovely jungle garden, nice walk into Kandy but best to get a tuk tuk back after dark.

The room was nice though quite small and not perfectly clean (e.g. smell of the pillow, dust on the floor). The food was fantastic and the owner very nice and helpful. The location is slightly outside of the town (20min walk) almost in the jungle, therefore very quiet.

We stayed at this place for two nights and it is really cheap! remember though that you need a tuk tuk to get there every time. rooms were clean and the house is nice. we didn't enjoy the dinner but maybe we had a bad night. breakfast is very expensive!
