Two nights here in December with friendly staff, great range and quality of food and lovely views of the rock from the pool and open lounge / bar. Were able to arrange an elephant ride nearby which the kids loved and the hotel set us up on a good wild elephant safari together with their own resident guide.

Excellent reception, lounge, bar and restaurant but the rooms could do with a refurb to match up to the surroundings! Rooms were a little small but had the necessary amenities. There was a good selection of food for dinner and breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is reasonably small and has a small...

Wonderful hotel with spectacular views of the rock from the pool area. Food was the best we had in Sri Lanka! Each night and morning there was a tasty buffet of a wide range of cuisines including local delicacies. The large comfortable room had appealing decor and we liked that it was single story with large open grounds. Excellent.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst on a tour seeing the surrounding sights of which there are many. The staff were very friendly and we were met by a...

We came to the Sigiriya hotel in the late evening after awful driving via minor road through the tropical jungle and the rain. This hotel was chosen as a base for visiting Sigiriya rock and Polonnaruwa city, so main goal was have a good sleep and start to climbing on Sigiriya early morning.
