The hotel is very clean and the breakfast was great. The breakfast hostess, Peggy, was smart and friendly....she kept the place perfect. Had a nice stopover on the way to Gulf Shores last night at the La Quinta. In an affluent area with a high end mall with restaurants across the street. The maids are thieves! Make sure that you don't leave anything in your room such as a $125 Chi straightening iron. The manager Jim Tucker makes excuses why his employees could never steal and basically calls their guests liars because there is no way his maids could've taken anything. more

We came in on our motorcycles along with a cold front. We were ready to just take our boots off and warm up but we were hungry.
