If only for the warm cookie at arrival, this hotel is worth the drive. A little further out from the "main drag" of Huntsville, you definitely feel isolated if most of your business is in the city proper. But the staff is wonderful, the accommodations are lovely and like I said, the warm cookie is to die for!

The outside of the hotel is deceiving. but once inside, the lobby, outdoor space, pool, dinning room, rooms, gym and all were perfect. The staff was very friendly and competent. I loved it. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed in a King Deluxe room, which had a separate living space. It was super clean, seemed to be fairly recently renovated, and was very comfortable. Would definitely stay at this Double Tree again.
