I found this site on the internet while searching for a place to stay during my visit to South Alabama. I read the reviews and was instantly taken with all the positive feed back. So I booked my trip and it turned out even better than I could have planned. David and Eric were not just hosts, they were instant... More

This is simply the best B&B I've ever been to. My husband and I spent a night here (we wished we'd stayed longer). The setting in the village is very pretty indeed - avenues of live oaks and the Magnolia River peeking out behind clapboard villas. The Inn is beautifully decorated and comfortable - we were in the McLennan Room... More

The B&B has plenty to offer with much to see and experience nearby. We hope you can visit again soon & stay several nights to better explore our area on the Alabama Gulf Coast; The Gulf Shores & Orange Beach areas with Parasailing, Kayaking, Canoeing, Zip-Lines, Water Park, Charter Fishing, etc. Or explore nearby Farihope, AL on Mobile Bay with... I really don't know where ti start in my praise of this great bed and breakfast establishment. We have just returned from our second stay at Magnolia Springs. Sometimes I find that things are not quite as good the second time, but that is not the case here. Everything was just as good this time as the last--maybe even a... More

What a beautiful setting! We traveled from CA out to Alabama to visit our daughter at UA and stayed here two nights. Everything was perfect; yummy breakfast, comfy beds, cookies out every night. The area of Magnolia Springs and this B&B reflected the true Southern experience we were hoping for. During the day try the nature boat tour with Sail... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this B&B. Upon arrival, our host David let us choose between two rooms of the same category since we were the only ones staying there at the time. The service was perfect, and our hosts recommended very good restaurants nearby to us. They even let us take their beach chairs to the beach and... More

We are taking steps to brighten rooms with colors & lighting in the 1898 all natural-wood structure. Hash-Brown Casserole is now offered as an alternative to grits. To rectify some concerns would prove difficult and would actually lessen the guests' experience. Guests have expectations of being pampered with daily maid service, everything clean and in place. We strive to anticipate... More

It's perfect. The owners put so much detail into this house! They have their own branded robes, shampoo, conditioner , bath crystals, soap & laundry bags ect. The finishes touches are truly exceptional. The rooms are massive, comfortable and decorated with taste. The house itself is the most beautiful house in Magnolia Springs. The streets, piers, gardens and houses are... More

Anytime at Magnolia Springs is wonderful but in December it is especially magical ! You would have to see David and Eric's amazing Christmas tree to understand -I could stand for hours spellbound looking at the beautiful detailed Radko ornaments. Add that to the beautiful home ,delicious breakfasts ,pampering by David and Eric and the serene/peaceful setting of the town... More

the very definition of southern charm & genteel manner. easy 2 find, yet off the beaten path. wonderful innkeepers; this was a surprise for my wife & they kept up the ruse perfectly. a happy anniversary banner showed up in our room upon return from dinner, high threadcount linens, tasty, healthy breakfast. we had an unplanned-for early morning departure, &... I grew up in the South, living in Alabama for several years and attending college in the state. Of course I come back at least once or twice a year to visit family and friends. Last Christmas my partner and I were headed down for the holidays and decided to stay in a hotel rather than the already full family... More

I loved this B&B so much they I was a guest twice in the same month! I am from the south and Eric and David's hospitality made me truly feel at home! The house is so warm and cozy that it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane reminiscing of summers with my grandmother.. Lazy days of summer front porch... More
