The owner of the place is really helpful and happily introducing local specialities. The place is clean, rooms are quite wide and two lounges offer plenty space for all quests. Location is very good if you want to be a little bit outside from touristic areas, but still a small walk away for going sightseeing. Best wishes from Estonia!

I've stayed in this guesthouse for 3 nights. I find the location very good, about 10 min. walking distance from the old town of Melaka with the major sightseeings and the river. Around the guesthouse there are local restaurants where you can eat cheap and good. The rooms are clean and you have the option with private or shared bathroom.... More

I can only agree with other reviewers - highly recommended. Old Town Guesthouse is very clean, very friendly, very spacious and very affordable. We stayed 4 nights in an air conditioned 3 bed room using the shared toilets and showers, and appreciated the large size of the room compared to other places we stayed in Malaysia and Singapore.
