We stayed at dos palmas several times during our travels. Great hotel, great staff. Big swimmingpool, clean rooms. Great for kids. Peter and Flor the owners are the best. This is a very safe bet if you want to stay near the airport but not next to the airport (because of airplane noice). We can reccomend it t everyone.

Nice hotel, the only one with a baby bed! (but we had our own!). Dinner was quite basic, but nevertheless tasty! Peter and Flor have a beautiful hotel. Peaceful, pleasant, with good clean and big rooms. An excellent place to start and finish your holiday in costa Rica. You will find rest and good company, hospitality, a nice place to recover from your flight and get inspiration for your holiday or your flight back home.

We stayed the first night of our CR trip in Dos Palmas. Peter arranged a rental car for us with a very competitive rate (I asked 10+ places for a quote). Great place for your first night. Enjoy breakfast on the terrace, which isn't possible if you stay in Alajuela city. Not much to do (or eat) in walking distance.
