After surfing for two weeks, my son and I were "turned on " to this wonderful place by Don, who is the manager at Casa Cecelia in Santa Teresa (http://www.casacecilia.com/). A great first and last night(or longer) five minutes from the Airport. Norman and Isabel are gracious hosts along with their son Nico! Secure parking for your rental car and... More

We looked for a place close to the airport, after a long flight, and not in the crowded San Jose. We got it right... The owner is very very nice. Helped us to start our trip, rent a car, and had some good recommandations of hotels and places to go. The breakfast was very good! BTW ask for the Mexican... More

After a long days journey from Montazuma to Alajuela, we arrived at Vida Tropical for our last evening in Costa Rica before returning home. Isabel greeted us at the door with a warm welcome, showed us around the communal areas, living room, patio, kitchen, then our rooms and made us feel very much at home. After taking a rest, we... My husband and I stayed at Vida Tropical twice during our 2 week stay in Costa Rica and it is such a nice, welcoming place. It is only a very short taxi ride from the airport and the owner, Isabel is so helpful, as well as knowledgable. We were very fortunate to be able to sit with her during our... More

My hubby and I have been to CR a few times before this summer, and we love to stay at little b&b's. So we came to Vida Tropical expecting a friendly, homey atmosphere and we weren't disappointed! Not only that, but the location can't be beat. It was a short taxi ride from the airport (and the owner Isabel was... More

We based our trip around Costa Rica out of Vida Tropical and we weren't disappointed. A great native B&B with wonderful people who also can get you great rental car rates and tell you of all kinds of beautiful places to see. With Their help the trip was that much better. I highly recommed it!!! More

We found Vida Tropical online and the reviews were all so positive so we decided to try it. We hate paying huge prices for overnights and prefer to use smaller more tranquil bed and breakfast locations. This place was really hard to find. We had a taxi lead us in our rental car, but without him, we were terribly lost... More
