we were there for 2 nights. Very good located to visit places around Turrialba. Very quite, away from Turrialba. wooden lodge, so you can hear the nature. Only the receptionist didn't know an answer on questions about turistic places around Turrialba. This is very poor

Aside from a rather underwhelming initial greeting at reception and failure to book a coffee plantation tour as discussed, this hilltop lodge is really rather nice. Good rooms with floor to ceiling windows look out over trees, there is a trail leading to a waterfall that is fun, and the bar area was pleasant in the evening. The food was... More

This place is great if you are looking for something in the Siquirres or Turrialba area. The views are amazing. The room was fine. Very reasonably priced. There is a very nice open sitting area on the second floor. We stayed above the dining area, which was very noisy in the evening.

We spent a night at the Turrialtico Lodge. Were very satisfied with the room and felt we had good quality for the price (clean and quiet room with a big window and a view on the forest). There is a little path in the forest you can walk that leads to a waterfall. We had dinner there and the food... More

I was annoyed upon arrival that the room I had booked (#1) was not available. The receptionist apologized and I opted for a room (#17) in the newer section. It has two beds, tv, safe that wasn't working, and a nice view of the back garden. The next day we moved to Room 1 which is located in the older... More

The location of this lodge is good, it has nice views from the side of a mountain. It's easy to drive to, it's close to town (with a car) if you want to dine there, and a convenient place to stop by if you're heading to Guayabo (definitely worth seeing for the pre-Columbian ruin city). Otherwise, the lodge actually felt... More

We arrived on a wet cloudy day and the hot showers were more of a dribble so not a good start. But from there everything got better with a good selection of food, beer and wine in the restaurant and great views once the clouds lifted. Rooms are comfortable but there's no sound insulation between you and the restaurant below.... More

This rustic lodge on the winding road just past Turrialba and on the road to Siquirres has lots to offer besides the breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. You can select from white water rafting tours hikes around the lushly landscaped property, canyoning tours and even spa treatments. Lots of value for your money here as the room are nicely... More

A friend and I stayed in rooms 1 and 2 in the main lodge and loved this hotel. We wanted a 'country view' after staying in central Turriabla, and boy, the views are INCREDIBLE. The hotel is situated on the side of a mountain overlooking volcanoes (including one sending out smoke plumes) and beautiful green valleys. So peaceful and relaxing,... More

This was a great place to stay. We were in room 2 and had an incredibly beautiful view. The room was comfortable, clean, and very pleasant, despite the fact that, as others have noted, the walls, floors, and ceilings are paper thin. The view was spectacular, and we loved that they had board games for us to borrow. The breakfast... More
