more character than the hilton. 20 dollar cab to the airport. tried it for the variety. friendly enough. 24 hour restaurant, that's nice! pool was ok, big courtyard. all in all, not bad. looks like I have to say more to have this go through. lot's of trees in the big courtyard. they were green.

The room was very tired and in need of an upgrade. The pool area is nice and breakfast was fine. The barbed wire enclosure and guards gave it kind of a compound feel, but it was safe at least. We stayed 2 nights which was more than enough.

This hotel was quite simple & straightforward. The room was very clean, but bare bones - no fridge, safe didn't work. Breakfast was ok, typical Costa Rican meal. The front desk staff were ok, not particularly helpful & didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome, etc.
