We have just returned from 4 nights at the Parador and in our view some of the previous reviewers must be very picky indeed. The hotel is superbly situated on a headland with spectacular sea views. We had a premier room, and it was very large with absolutely everything we needed, including two queen sized beds. There is a small... more

Vacationed in Costa Rica with my husband and stayed 3 nights at the Parador. Overall, I would say it was good, but not great. One big thing that I would point out about this hotel is that there is NO private beach access. For us, this was a major drawback and a deal breaker for us to ever consider returning.... more

The service was fantastic. If you are lucky like I was, Afonso will be your server at the restaurant. The guy was fantastic. It made my stay so much more enjoyable. I felt like in Brazil. Vida Pura! more

In general I was amazed with Costa Rica as a country, this has been my favourite trip ever, even if I have travelled across most of Europe and to New York. This hotel was one of the best we stayed in during our trip, with very friendly staff and excellent facilities. The room furniture was a little bit old, but... more

I just spent four nights at the Parador with my nine year old son. We had a great time. We stayed in one of the new suites over looking the ocean. It was very spacious and well-appointed. The AC worked great. The view was fabulous. The guy at the tour desk booked us a canopy tour, and also a tour... more

We stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Parador. The hotel has a beautiful lobby, pool area and grounds. It has a handy free shuttle that runs regularly into the town of Manuel Antonio. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. It was a plain room, not much to get excited about except for the view. Our room... more

The Parador was a nice hotel I stayed at for a weekend . The hotel, itself, is very nice. It overlooks the ocean, has a lovely dining room, and a pool as well. They also have a free shuttle that takes guests to the national park. The room was fine...nothing special. There were flower arrangements all over the room, which... more
