Lodge and staff were absoultely the best! Las Islas Lodge is probably the best Lodge we have stayed in so far. The rooms were very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, the shower is huge and most of all the rooms were very very clean. Las Islas Lodge is the only Lodge in the area with a built in swimming pool - great to cool off after a day of fishing. The Chef, Susanne, made salads, dinners and deserts that were absolutely great and we had no need to look elsewhere. We ate in the restaurant every night. Breakfast is very filling and the coffee is made fresh every time. They have the best BROWNIES, ice cream and coconut flambe you have ever tasted. Catch of the day was prepared PERFECTLY. Suggestion: Reserve a bicycle for the week and bike into town and to the beach. Taxi service is available anytime if you choose that route instead. Captain Oscar and Mate Giovanni did a great job in finding a lot of fish for both our off shore trips and our surf fishing trip. Tours... more
