In any other place the accommodations would be twice the price. Desk manager Leo makes for a comfortable stay. Have recommended to numerous friends traveling to CR. The breakfast is well prepared and gets you going for the day. Excellent ceviche just around the corner El Pibe.

My first trip to Costa Rica, for dental surgery. The staff took such good care of us and met all the various needs that arose - many time going out of their way to do so. We were comfortable and welcomed. Kudos to Brigette, Leo, Alberto and Olgar for making this such a pleasant stay. Rooms were clean and large.

The Beacon is a great hotel, with wonderful friendly staff. The building itself is excellent and they have everything you could want or need. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is very comfortable. The price is very reasonable, for such a well appointed hotel. You will enjoy your stay in this TRUE boutique hotel.

Hotel is great and roomy, spa is nice, and seems like a great hotel. If they got even a semi-decent place to eat this would be a great place. Too bad the food is horrible, borderline uneatable. As long as you eat somewhere else, you should really enjoy this place.
