Casa Abierta is infused with a spirit that comes from the owner that is kind, generous and respectful. I did not meet him, as he was in India, but his good friend Ewalina and Maria, the administrator, cook and house keeper, were delightful. Staying at Casa Abierta was a perfect respite from the trials of traveling.
