This resort has a beautiful location, the accomodation was brilliant - overlooking the beach. Beautiful beaches. We got a complimentary spa voucher which was a really nice gesture as we were on our honeymoon. The restaurants food was nothing to rave about but the people, location and huts made up for it.

My husband and I stayed here for the majority of our honeymoon back in December 2012. We stayed here for 7 nights in an overwater bungalow. Number 34. We love love love love loved it here! Everyone should go here. It is exactly like the photos if not better. The colours of the water, the people, the weather. Amazing!!! Our... More

We had 'done' Rarotonga a few times and thought we should do the cook islands a service and visit its jewel - Aitutaki. We arrived later in the afternoon and found our way to the check in desk at the airport and given a coconut and lei (I am personally not a fan of this as it really makes you... More

Where do I start? Resort is pricey but stunning. I thought Aitutaki is prettier than Rarotonga but also a lot quieter. This is one of the best location in South Pacific I had been to. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will surely come back and enjoy this paradise on Earth.

We were looking forward to this hurriedly organised trip as we had been to Rarotonga before but didnt have time to visit Aitutaki. The famous lagoon and surroundings, including the site of the resort did not disappoint, in fact it really is a spectacular place, the pity is the resort was a huge disappointment! Aitutaki is a unique place and... More

My wife and I spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon here in an overwater bungalow. It was absolutely amazing!!! The staff were fantastic and the food was great! Stunning location and the over water bungalow was worth the extra $$$

The location is everything - and it is really stunningly beautiful. Being a sandy island, the resort is not very wheelchair friendly, although the staff built me a wheelchair ramp to get my mobility scooter up to our room. Service was hit and miss; the activities people were really good, but other staff seemed to not care (but we wondered... More

This was my third stay at this property over th elast 20 years, so to some extent I knew what to expect. In this case we chose the premium beachfront bugalow as we had two children with us. Elsewhere and at other resorts, this would have required two rooms/bungalows, which would have made the 5 days we spent reasonably expensive.... More

We had 5 nights in the resort. We had a beach front bungalow which overlooked the channel. I would recommend you upgrade to a premium beachfront bungalow so you are actually looking out at the lagoon. The room itself was perfect. Clean and very spacious. Very private with an outdoor shower which was wonderful. The beach is beautiful and the... More

We stayed in over-water bungalow which made it a unique experience for us, so I am giving this property a 4-star rating, however if you are staying in any other room category, be prepared for a major disappointment. We checked out other rooms and bungalows around the resort and all of them looked pretty old, dated and run down. Over-water... More

Kia Orana “kismika” Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our resort. I am disheartened to read that you had mixed feelings about the resort however encouraged that the Overwater bungalows provided you with a unique experience. In August 2012, we completed a $2m refurbishment of our bungalows which included: 1. All bungalows were fully refurbished... More
