This place was beautiful and a great place to stay. The room was wonderful. We were first given a room that overlooked the roof of another building but the staff quickly and easily changed our room for us. I would go back in a heartbeat. The town of Girdwood is quaint and fun. more

Had paid for a deluxe room. Didn't get a room on the view side of hotel. Room was full of furniture, beds to close together, large chairs that were hard to get around. Very clean and beautiful. I would highly recommend this place and it was worth every penny. We enjoyed hiking around the many paths around the resort. We had to consistently ask for towels, the housekeeping would never leave small towels. The rooms would not get clean unless we asked them. We stayed from August 1-August 7, 2009. We rented a car, drove all over Alaska for 3 weeks and this was our most pleasurable stay. Everything in room has class and style but not stuffy.
