My son and I had the pleasure of staying with John & Jacquie in the large cabin in late July & early August ’12. Our trip was a ‘billed’ as a high school graduation trip for my son, but I was anxious to experience Alaska’s beauty and the highly touted halibut & salmon fishing. When we arrived, we found Red... John and Jackie were great host. They provided great breakfasts and local knowledge of the area for site seeing and fishing. We went salmon fishing several days and halibot fishing two days. We saw several moose on our jouneys, also, eagles and otters.

My husband and I stayed in the smaller of the two red cabins and loved it. We have visited several B&Bs and this is definitely at the top of our list. Our favorite things were the beautiful setting, the privacy of a cabin, the breakfast in the fridge to make how and when we desired, and the utmost hospitality from... More

I had the oppurtunity to stay at Red Cabin during the middle of July. The property is beautiful, the surroundings peaceful, and the hosts beyond gracious. The cabin was extremely clean and fully stocked with lot's of great breakfast foods (make sure you try the bacon), coffee, juice, fresh fruit and great fresh muffins. Both John and Jacquie went out... More

Red Cabin is just far enough off the beaten path for a quiet country setting, while being only 10-15 minutes from Kenai or Soldotna. We stayed in the larger cabin. It was clean, well maintained and well stocked with a variety of breakfast foods including a great fresh fruit bowl. The owners John & Jacquie were quite knowledgeable about the... More

A couple friends and I stayed at Red Cabin last week. We fished most of the time, but did a few other touristie things. John and Jacquie were the most gracious and helpful hosts we could have asked for on our first trip to AK. They helped us and pointed us in the right direction no matter where we were... More

I stayed two nights at the Red Cabin while visiting both Homer and Seward. It was a good half-way point for both, for me. It was easy to find, yet "off the beaten path" just enough to make it absolutely quiet and peaceful. Sitting on the porch the first evening, a mother and baby moose started down the driveway, but...
