Our 4-night stay with Birch and Tiffany was the crowning touch on a dream vacation. Raspberry Island Remote Lodge was a fabulous place to visit - wonderful people, comfortable lodge, gorgeous location, delicious food and adventures every day! We are not fishermen but wanted outdoor experiences. Bear watching, hiking, kayaking, bird watching, beach combing, soaking in the hot tub, dreaming... More

Our visit to Raspberry Island Remote Lodge was our first experience in Alaska. While our focus was on fishing, we wanted to spend time enjoying the surroundings by doing other activities. Birch and Tiffany planned out a week for us that included deep sea fishing by boat, fly fishing for sockeye, crab fishing, bear viewing, kayaking, and hiking. We saw... More

Our trip to KRIRL was our first visit to Alaska and it far surpassed out wildest expections. We are already thinking about our next trip. Birch and Tiffany are the ultimate hosts and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and treat you like family. Fishing was great and even if it hadn't been we would have... More

This was our second time here and first with the second generation owners, Birch and Tffany. We had a blast. Accomodations are first class, staff was friendly and helpful, food was fantastic along with the beer and wine and the fishing was unbelievable. Birch found this amazing river and on our first day six of us limited out on Silver... More

I gave my younger brother an all-expense paid fishing trip to the venue of his choice for his 50th birthday. He choose Alaska and wanted to do both salt-water fishing and fresh-water fishing. After a good bit of research, I decided on the Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge, which is a second generation family-owned facility. for our week long-trip. Birch... More

I always wanted to fish in Alaska and visit Kodiak Island so after a long internet search, a friend and I decided on Raspberry Island Remote Lodge. The lodge is remote. The only way to get to the lodge is by float plane or boat. Neighbors are few and far between. The hilly country side is green and scenic. Wildlife... More

As other reviewers have noted this place is top notch. We probably missed some of the best because Birch's wife Tiffany had to leave on a family emergency but Birch kept things together and we had a great time. Some notes: Fishing was good despite a poor king run and a late developing silver run - we should have been... More

Trip here was amazing. We caught a ton of fish - big halibut and incredible Sockeye fishing. The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and the food is excellent. We had a taste of regular Alaska lodging and this place - the Raspberry Island Lodge is hands down the best place to stay in Alaska. The flight in is really cool.... More

The lodge is warm and inviting, beautiful views with a comfy home atmosphere. I am known to be a good cook, Tiffany puts me to shame. The food is 5 star, served... More
