We had a superior twin room and were really pleased with it - very spacious, lovely big bathroom and a nice view over the gardens and wall. The location was great for everything we wanted to do in Avila, including sightseeing and nightlife - we were easily able to walk everywhere. We didn't eat at the parador, so can't comment... More

Wow... We loved our stay at the Parador de Avila. First, we booked a suite and were very pleasantly surprised to find our room was so updated, from the bathroom fixtures and materials to the bedroom decor (which was traditional Catalan).
