We had a great stay at in the Captains room. The hotel is early 1900's but has been nicely refurbished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Manager Joe and bartender Terry were great. The room rate was very reasonable and we had a great breakfast. We will definately stay again. More

Only one thing I would like to comment on, we booked 2 months in advance and paid double the amount for the Victoria suite compared to what was charged for the John Wayne western suite by a couple who stayed the same night and did not book ahead. We stopped in asking to see a room and were very surprised at the suites that were offered. We booked a night (some friends had another suite also). The room was wonderful. Our two night stay allowed us to sample two suites. Both were comfortable with totally different themes. The hotel has a great central location with lots to see in walking distance. The people were friendly, helpful, and breakfast was great. We hope to return for a family stay. More
