“Good B&B close to Newlands commercial centre”

Wild Olive is well situated for Newlands, has good clean and well furnished rooms. The garden is pleasant and there is a pool with seating around, plus an honesty bar. Breakfast is fine, only the coffee disappointed us. Staff were very helpful and eager to please, especially as I needed somewhere to keep a cycle.

“Fantastic Home from Home”

A very well run and comfortable bed and breakfast. My room was spacious with all the amenities and it had an en suite with both shower and bath, a rarity in today's establishments. Very conveniently located with a superb breakfast. Highly recommended.

“Great rooms and great service”

Stayed here on business so although I only spent one night at this charming guest house. It was enough to get me to visit here again on my next trip. There is off street parking and the rooms are very well equipped.

“They really took care of us”

First off, Garmin GPS in South Africa sucks. It just really sucks. So we ended up getting lost numerous times (we didn't get a cell phone - I suggest renting a cell phone) to WIld Olive around 1am (Garmin recognizes it as in Claremont - if you find the address in "Capetown", it will take you into a shanty town-ish... I enjoyed my stay at Wild Olive Guest House. Gillian really went the extra mile to make my stay enjoyable. Fantastic service. Very well appointed room - spotless and comfortable. The food was excellent and very good value. Sadly it wasn't the best weather but the pool looked very inviting. I would recommend staying here.

Gillian went above and beyond what I expected from service! Such a beautiful place, a great rest after a hectic day. The room was superbly fitted out and spotless. Breakfast was wonderful (the coffee especially so)

Gorgeous place to stay while in Cape Town. Found everything to be of a high standard including guest services. Breakfsat was delicious, room clean and comfortable. Would highly reccommend and would return myself in a heartbeat!
