Noisy, unprofessional, unpleasant. We stayed in room 24. It was meant to be one of the best rooms in the hotel - according to the receptionist. It was sort of in the basement and opened straight onto the car park. No cover from the rain and every car that arrived or left disturbed us. Including a big arrival at 4.30am!... More

The venue has ample parking and is siutated in a quiet area away from the noise of the city.Staff are friendly and helpful ensuring that all needs were catered for. Stayed there for a week in summer and I loved every minute of it. It's a small place, but very cozy. Staff is friendly and ready to help you with anything needed. View from the room was amazing. Even had little visitors outside, local wildlife what I think is interesting. Would love to stay there again on my next visit.

We recently stayed at the Emakhosini hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff were exceptional, there was nothing more that they could have done to make us so welcome and comfortable. The rooms have the most amazing features and as our friends stayed in some rooms as well, we managed to see that each room was different but tastefully... More

I wound up at eMakhosini after being bumped from another guest house (Goble Palms Guest House) while in Durban for the World Cup. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. My room, while mostly clean, feels dark, and in need of a renovation/makeover. You get the impression it has seen better days. One of the drawers was hanging off its hinges!... More

We stayed here with our two young children and were incredibly well looked after. The rooms were fabulous and the family room we enjoyed was very spacious. The hotel is very clean and the staff cannot do enough for you. We had some super meals, particularly the curries!
