Located close to the Phabeni Gate to Kruger Park, this time share resort in Hazyview offers convenient access to many attractions in the area combined with a peaceful and traquil setting. Built round a Gary Player course, the units are in facebrick under thatch located along the course fairways. More attractive sites are available along the Sabie river but these... More

Kruger Park Lodge is that unusual place that one encounters seldom. A superb golf-course, twenty minutes from the Kruger Park Phabeni Gate and a tranquil thatched unit excellently maintained and well-equipped. A good restaurant and good services. Staff are well-trained and responsive and the entires experience is laid back comfort and sheer enjoyment. Great to unwind and relax.

We spent a day in the Mpumalanga area on 26 April to check on a couple of resorts. We had an unpleasant experience at Ekuthuleni where we refused entry. For additional info refer review. We have a booking in July 2013 for Kruger Park Lodge & wanted to check out the Lodge. We had no problem in getting to reception... More

I spent 5 days at the lodge. It's a beautiful place, quiet and you can be one with nature. The chalet I stayed in was clean and very well maintained. I had a magnificent view of the manicured golf course and the hippo hide in the distance. My favourite however, was the small herd of buck running free around the... More

This is a really nice place to have a good break. Well run and attractive grounds. We enjoyed our stay. Lots of impala grazing in the grounds. Very special. A great golf course (9 holes). Lots of lovely birds! Close to Kruger Park.

Dear ReidJHB Thank you for the positive review and I am glad that you enjoyed your stay here and hope that you returned home rested and refreshed. Regarding the point about alcohol and Kruger Park - as well as not being allowed to take in alcohol, day visitors may not purchase at the park shops either. The sales assistants will... More

We stayed at Kruger Park Lodge in April 2013. The unit that we had was spacious and comfortable. We self catered for the most part and the unit included crockery and cutlery for eight people although our group was not that big. There is also a nine hole golf course on the estate. The restaurant fare was good and reasonably... More

Dear Macaddikit Thank you for the very positive review for our resort. It appears that you made use of most of the facilities as well as our proximity to the Kruger National Park. Your point regarding the alcohol regulations is well made - day visitors may not take alcohol into the park at all and also are not allowed to... More

Lovely, well maintained lodge catering for a variety of activities. Beautiful setting right on the Sabie River with a rich variety of birds and a well placed bird hide. Close to the Kruger Park for day visitors entering at the Phabeni Gate going to Skukusa - a very rewarding road, especially if you are keen on seeing wild dogs. Excellent... More

They call it a "lodge", but I call it a nature state. Spacious nature estate, plenty of space between the houses, and the houses are big themselves. (Oh, before I forget, it's also a golf estate.) A river runs through it, and the wild buck goes, well, buck wild in the luscious, green lawns. The way this place blends with... More

I saw another reviewer that lost power. We also lost power during our vacation for about 3 nights. I LOVED the trip but my parents were robbed while they were sleeping staying at a near by resort and you need to be careful when staying at any location in the area. I recommend sleeping with windows closed even if the... More

Dear Cora72 I am so sorry to hear about your parents experience but am glad that it has not prevented you from wishing to visit this area again. As you say, the area offers so much in the way of scenic, cultural and safari trips that there will always be something new to see. I hope you get the opportunity... More

This was the second time we have used Timeshare at Kruger Park Lodge. It's so conveniently placed for the Park and surrounding areas. They are busy upgrading the units, but nevertheless they are clean and comfortable. We have had a unit by the river and this time overlooking the golf course - both great in their own ways. There was... More

Dear Sue C Thank you for the positive feedback. It is always a pleasure for me to hear that our guests enjoy it so much that they return again and hopefully, again! The impala think they own the golf course and the Egyptian Geese, whilst sometimes taking the place of alarm clocks at 05h00, are of the opinion that the... More
