This is a very reasonably priced hotel located right in Gardens, central Cape Town, making it an ideal choice for a business stay, although I've used it as a holiday hotel on a few occasions as well. The staff must be commended on the excellent service I've received at the hotel on virtually all my stays there (and I've stayed... More

Bookings made hassle free, extremely friendly and competent staff. The rooms are neat and clean and the size of the room is more than adequate. Love the free coffee, cookies and ice tea that I found in my room! DSTV in room with good channel selection on offer. The restaurant food and bar are fabulous, also a swimming pool outside.... More

That's not to say that the Garden Court is a bad hotel, its a basic hotel! If you are accustomed to more I suggest spending the extra money at staying at the Cullinan,... More

With the special on discovery miles, we were able to enjoy a fun filled weekend in Cape Town. The hotel was clean, the atmosphere was very welcoming, staff were very friendly and very helpful. However the only problem was the rattling of the bedroom window as there were strong gale force winds. Breakfast was included in the room rate however... More

Garden Court de Waal is a wonderful place to stay while in Capetown. Situated in the city it is an ideal location to stay since it is close to most of the museums, the malls and especially for the Indians some of the finest Indian restaurants, such as Vintage India is situated in the vicinity. One has an excellent view... More

OK, but getting dated now. Off Pitch in terms of location, made up for this with stunning views - watching the firework festival over the bay was great. More

Good rooms but slightly away from the city centre. Breakfast not very elaborate but extremely good. there are quite a few restaurants in the neighbourhood offering a variety of cuisenes (chinese, thai, indian etc). Most of the rooms offer a great view of the table mountain and the furnicular. More
