We spent 5 nights at Belmont Guest House and found it to be a reasonably priced, well located and well run option in Cape Town. It is no-frills:. there is no TV in the guest rooms, no internet hookup, no telephones or air conditioning in the rooms. But the guest house is clean and comfortable and you can't beat the... more

This B&B was so much less expensive than other places I looked at in Cape Town. It is not within walking distance of most sights but cabs are quick and fairly cheap. We have just returned from spending 8 nights at Belmont House in Cape Town. Tony and Gael are excellent hosts. This is very affordable accommodation situated very close to city, waterfront, table top mountain, etc. We had a lovely time staying here and would recommend it to anyone, great for all travellers young and old, families too.
