Very nice location. Garden rooms have a very nice view. Constantia is a perfect location to visit Cape town and its surrounding and stay in a calm place. Yves and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We booked a day prior to our arrival via booking.com two rooms for 4 people. When we arrived the owner told us that he had mixed up something and that there was only one room available. As the room was very spacious we decided to put in two beds. The facilities and furiture are very safari like- lots of game-... More

Hi We are Steve and Teresa from Somerset in the UK, we travelled to South Africa March 2013, this was our 3rd visit to S.A and thought rather than a large hotel in the center of Cape Town we would venture to the outskirts in a B & B. So glad we did, what a fantastic choice we made choosing... More

Having read some of the other reviews, I can only conclude that the much praised Cheryl with her freshly baked breakfasts has moved on. I had for breakfast this morning: a grand total of one cereal (that one being Corn Flakes, of all exciting and healthy breakfast foods!); a plate of stale pastries, featuring one day-old croissant, one fresh roll... Hello, we are max and simona from italy ! We spent one week in capetown in january 2013 at the ikhaya. The lodge is amazing, very quiet and luxury. According to us, costantia is the best zone of capetown, an exclusive living quarters with huge villas situated on green hills and a few kilometers from the touristic attractions. The manager... We spent two nights at Ikhaya and it seems that a lot of effort went into the decor etc, however it is a little tired now and needs a good dose of TLC. Rooms hot with no fans or aircon- no top sheet to sleep under just a heavy douvet. Breakfast unexciting - bowl of fruit salad with a carton... More

This was an amazing place to stay and at a perfect location. You could look down on Cape Town. It was so quiet and clean. Cheryl is the best host. She made so much food every morning and it was really good. One of the best places we ate in South Africa. It's really a shame the don't operate it... More

This B&B was special. The rooms were divided into lounge area and bedroom area which was useful. The french doors opened onto a patio area with views to die for. The swimming pool area was well appointed and the pool itself was fine. On the main terrace where breakfast was served there was an "Out of Africa" seating area. Breakfast... More

Cherryl is a superb host and made the best breakfasts on our stay in 8 different locations in S Africa. The fruit platter is worthy of a 5 star hotel and her daily freshly baked scotch pancakes are to die for. The location is ideal for visiting both Constantia and the centre of Cape Town. The "Zebra" room we stayed... More
