Rooms were extremely comfortable and clean, excellent breakfast choices, and a perfect place to relax. Nice garden area and pool available for guests. Your host Gerrie was welcoming and a font of knowledge about local restuarants and advice about bookings etc. Would certainly recommend Constantia Palms and would definitely return.

We now use Gerrie's for several days at the start and end of our annual mid-Jan to mid-Feb trip to SA. It is the perfect place to chill out before we set off into the winelands and garden route and then to wind down at the end of the trip before setting off for home. Very central, safe, lovely accommodation... More

Having read other reviews, I find it difficult to add to the superlatives already said about Constantia Palms. Your host Gerrie is a fount of knowledge and always there with a smile and chat. The guest house location could not be better, with easy access to good restaurants, wine farms and Cape Town. Also you are en route to Cape... More

A great location near Cape Town for exploraing the Cape itself and for tasting the lovely Constantia wines. We had a big room, terrace, lovely bathroom and the host was super helpful in giving advice for the rest of our South African trip. Local restaurant was very close and just perfect.

We stayed in mid-December and found the accommodation and hospitality to be excellent. Our host was very helpful with suggesting restaurants and activties as well as helping with reservations. The Constantia Valley is beautiful with many amenities including the oldest wine estate in South Africa and has many good restaurants. We also found this a good base for exploring the... More

This was our second visit at Constantia Palms and hopefully not our last. We staid 3 nights, and enjoyed a comfortable room with its very nice furniture, beautiful bathroom, and perfect breakfast. Gerrie, the host, again assisted us with restaurant bookings, good advices, a lot of humor, etc, etc. Constantia is a well-off, quiet suburb from Capetown, near to the... More

I stayed at Constantia Palms for one night. The guest house has a central location in Constantia. Constantia is a stunning upmarket neighbourhood in Cape Town within close proximity to some excellent wine farms and Kirstenbosch Gardens. There are some very good restaurants in Constantia and the views are spectacular. Please note that no signage is visible upon arrival but... More

The B&B is located in a suburban neighborhood south of Cape Town, a good location to visit Kirstenbosch Gardens, False Bay beaches and towns, and the Cape of Good Hope area. It is also only about 20 minutes from downtown Cape Town although we enjoyed staying in the city for that part of our trip. Half of the house is... More

This is not the first time we have stayed at this Guest House and most certainly will not be the last ! The Host,Gerrie, is superbly attentive and most helpful in giving route advice to many different places as well as being pleasant at all times irrespective of any hiccups that may occasionally occur. The place itself is very well... More

Four bedroomed guest house, in a pleasant location in the Constia Valley. Close to village and mall and an easy walk to decent local restaurant/pub (Peddlers). Rooms and bathrooms are good sized and nicely appointed, with good beds and linen. Coffee making facilities include real coffee (not the powdered muck!) and nice biscuits – other B+B owners please note!. Breakfasts... More
