We thought Papyrus Lodge was a beautiful place. We stayed in one of the suites in the main house, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The place is romantic, but I don't think you get value for money. When we stayed there, is was a windy day (like most days in Cape Town) and it was terrible to be on the wooden deck. I've stayed at places in the Western Cape before which offer more then this place - for 1/4 of the price!
