the position is not good to move around in the city, the block is not nice though there seemed to be no danger around. it is close to placa dorrego and its Sunday's feria of stalks. the rooms are large but they are humid and you smell a stink of mould; mine had no air conditioning (it was summer and... Wonderful B&B in San Telmo. Our room had two levels with a small living room. The bed was big and confortable, same for the bathroom. Raul served us a nice breakfast every morning, and helped us with everything. Lots of nice places to eat around, and a short walk to the tube or the center. Would definitely stay again if... More

We stayed for eight nights in May/June. The B&B has been very, very beautifully restored, and the loft room where we stayed was very cozy. High ceiling, bare brick walls and lovely bathroom. The owner and co-owner (and rest of staff) were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended! More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in May and were very pleased with this place. I highly recommend the loft room if you can get it. There isn't much going on in the immediate neighborhood, but we wanted to spend a lot of time in San Telmo, so the location was great since it was just a... More

Hve hesitated with the review for this one as I wanted to compare all the B/B's we have stayed in over the 6 weeks we travelled through Argentina. Beautifully placed for sightseeing in the city. Quiet and peaceful bedrooms, clean and spacious. Were met by a lovely wee man, not the owner, and made to feel very welcomed and showed... More

Adorable B&B, the rooms are comfortable with nice up to date bathrooms. The owner and staff were awesome and spoke decent English. The breakfast was also good. The only downfall was the neighborhood. It was a little off the beaten path for us and maybe not the safest for 2 girls to be walking around, but overall an enjoyable stay. More

We stayed with our 3 year old daughter at this lovely casa for 5 days. The house has an absolutely great and relaxed atmosphere. We felt at home from the very beginning. Even better; I wish our home looks like this! The house is renovated with great eye for keeping the historics alive, but also with the modern comfort. Raul... More

If you want a good alternative to the chain hotels (which are double the price) and get a feeling of being in another country, Sur Y Despues is a great option. Raul met us at our arrival and was there for anything we needed. The building is 100 years old but beautifully restored with modern and stylish decor. The ceilings... More

My wife and I stayed at Sur y Despues for 8-9 nights and would highly recommend it. The property is gorgeous. The location ideal. And, it's very affordable. We loved the loft we had. The ceilings16-18 foot ceilings really made it feel spacious and the antiques made the room feel warm. The courtyard is a quiet oasis that's perfect for... More
