Very quiet and peaceful, sometimes we were divided between exploring the city , as we had just a few days ,or staying at the Garden, just relaxing and reading, Not being in the center, for us is an advantage, because it´s far from all the usual big city´s noises, traffic and confusion. However it´s a walking distance to S.Telmo( not... more

We stayed twice at Garden during a holiday in Argentina and found it wonderful in every way. It is in a gritty part of San Telmo, bordering on Barracas, but we felt very safe walking around the area. There are terrific restaurants (Caseros, Club Social) close by. Once inside, you feel part of an enchanted garden; the rooms are spacious... more

We were welcomed with open arms on three different occasions at the Garden during our trip to Argentina and every time it felt like we were coming home. Its 'faded glory' exterior tells little of the delights and charm waiting on the inside for any new guest. We were both blown away by Pamela's eye for design, I dream of... more

I chose to stay in the historic core of Buenos Aires where I find the city most interesting. Garden provided the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of a large city. Once inside, you have no idea that you are in such a large metropolitan area. It is lush, tranquil, and the owner, Pamela, has paid attention to every... more

I stayed at Garden 4 night and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the airport pickup, to the breakfast, to the wine selection in the mini bar, everything was beyond perfect. The location was ideal as well. Right in the middle of everything. Pamela, the gracious host, never disappointed with her suggestions and knowledge on what to see... more

Garden is a wonderful place to stay after the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires. It is slightly out of the centre but it is well placed to explore the vibrant San Telmo district and is close to some fantastic restaurants and the San Telmo Sunday Antique Market. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately designed, breakfast is delicious (with homemade... more

We liked the nice decoration of this B&B. Internet access was very good and owner gave us a cell phone (you should have a SIM Card to use it) to use during our stay. There is also a phone that you can use for free to call anywhere in U.S. and Europe. However, there are many flaws about this B&B... more

We absolutely loved our experience at the Garden. A tastefully modern decorated b and b with turn of the century structure made this place an ideal place to get the feeling of Buenos Aires. They even added great touches like free use of a cell phone (including international calls), fresh cut flowers and fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast. One... more

We stayed at GARDEN (owner is Pamela Murphy) last week (Nov 14)-- Since we were arriving at 8 am, we were looking for a B&B that would accomodate early arrival--(no hotel would guarantee a morning early arrival)- Pamela picked us up at the airport (about same cost as a taxi) and even had a breakfast for us (around 8:45am). Room... more

Fantastic b and b with real character. A beautiful 1900s Italian home with original features which has been renovated so that staying there means you also have the facilities of the twenty-first century. Such homes are no doubt found elsewhere in Buenos Aires but it is rare that you can visit them and or see one that has been so... more
