The Gran Vedra Hotel is in Av. de Mayo and it's the best location to stay, IMO. It's near the subway but you can easily walk to the Obelisk, Pink House, San Telmo, Puerto Madero, Calle Florida and many other locations. The staff is great and was ready to help me whenever I needed.

Good hotel in a amazing local, near subway and easy to locate. People in the help desk were nice and very accessible. My only complaint was the room service, which wasn't very good. But in general a very good option. Be aware that they have 21% of city taxes, which people often forget...
